wow I need to post more

Life has been busy, I'm not a great blogger, no one reads it... So i'm lucky I get on every few weeks and post something new. Ethan is doing awesome in soccer, this morning he scored two goals! I was more than proud with just the one but two was amazing! I'm busy this weekend clenaing the house, less than a month and 2 weeks until Amber's wedding and my bridesmaid dress I ordered one size too small FITS! I'm excited! And we are going in less than one month to New Orleans for her bachelorette party! FOUR DAYS KIDDO FREE! WHOOO HOOO!

Happy Easter Weekend!

Just wanted to drop into my own blog and say Happy Easter. Things have been hectic around our house! Amber's wedding is less than two months away and we had her wedding couples shower last weekend which was a huge success thanks to everyone who was involved! It was the best and longest shower I had ever been to.. I got there before the shower started around 130 pm and the last guest didn't leave until after 1am! Crazy but oh so much fun! And the bachelorette party in New Orleans is in a month and 2 weeks! We are going Memorial day weekend! OMG I'm so excited can't wait! Anyways I've gotta finish putting the eggs up from coloring and get out of my jammies! Its after 1PM and I'm still lounging around!

This has been a week from HELL!

WOW! I didn't know one week could hold so much crap in it! First Saturday night, Sunday morning 1:30am my neighbors boyfriend throws a hammer thru Ethan's bedroom window. LUCKILY he was in my bed in my bedroom. The hammer went thru two sheets of glass and the screen landed in the middle of the bedroom and glass was strown throughout Ethan's bedroom and into the hallway. Ethan was then up until 4am and I was up until 6am and got up before 8. There went me losing sleep the remaineder of the week. Ethan had nightmares for 3 nights in a row so that didn't help.. He kept asking what would happen if David threw a hammer again and he was sleeping in his room (cause he's been trying to start sleeping in there more and more). I had to reassure him multiple times that he's not going to do it again. For one if he's caught here he'll be arrested and another I'll throw the hammer at his fucking head if he is that angry at anyone. HE also broke out his girlfriend's car window on the way home that night from the bar. BUT WHO DOES MY NEIGHBOR HATE? ME of course, hey i was that girl 6 years ago.. When Jayme used to abuse me it started off with minor things but only escalated until I was tired of it! I just hope that her kids are safe, thats all I can do is pray for them all!

Then Tuesday I had to rush my cat to the vet cause he was bleeding from his paws, so he is now resting at my mom's house for a while...Yeah I know I got the cat and gave it away already, I'll get him back eventually! I promise.

Now for the big time fun stuff. First off Wednesday I got a flat tire, luckily I was able to get it plugged (Thanks Danny), and then Thursday morning when I was getting my tire fixed I decided to text Jayme to see if he was getting Ethan for his bi weekly visit and he texts me back and all he says is UR A BITCH...I was nice and said I didn't ask what you thought about me I asked if you were getting your son? and then he proceeded to berate me, so after getting to work at 9am I was on the phone getting a lawyers appt and left by noon yesterday. Got a lawyer and paid a retainer (a 3rd of my 1500 retainer) she says I'm a shoe in to win this. He wants to change weekends for visits because his gf's kids go to their dads on opposite weekends. Well the state of TX states 1, 3, 5th so i'm not changing and the only way the judge would change it is if he was working those weekends, but HE WORKS 4 10'S HE'S OFF FRIDAY-SUNDAY EVERY WEEK! When he threatened me with going to court i pretty much said bring it on, but when we go back I'll be asking for a raise in child support and also for more medical support or for you to put him on your insurance, and he tried to tell me he hasn't gotten a raise in 2 years..since we last went to court....UM YEAH I doubt that b/c where he works is only like the largest national RETAILER in the world, HINT its a distribution center for a retailer I HATE to go due to the billions of people there on any given day! So now I am just sitting and waiting for his lawyer to contact me and I'll say here's my lawyers name and # she will be waiting for your call! HAHA BRING IT ON! I am keeping my texts of offensive words he's sent...The last thing he said to me was "I can't wait for Ethan to get older so I can tell him what a bitch you are" Let's see what the judge thinks of that!!!!!!!!!

Anyways Ethan started soccer two weeks ago and its going awesome! He has a game tomorrow at 9 and pics at 830 am so it will be an early day, but I'm glad so we can have the rest of the day to do fun mommy/son stuff! Hope everyone has a great weekend!

I'm back...sorry

Ok yeah so my first blog came and went then I disappeared for a month. Sorry, of course I'm not the biggest or most interesting blogger out there so who really missed it? Not many im sure!

I finally got a laptop and I'm so excited about it. I got an HP and so far I love it! Anything to get me on the net and off the blackberry. I was using it so much I think i was losing feeling in my thumbs at times.

So hopefully I'll be on here more often from now on. We will see if time allows.

Ethan started the spring season of soccer this past weekend and I'm so excited for him. If you wanna come to a game just let me know! He loves to have people come watch him. I also bought him a kitten on Saturday. The kitten is a boy and has changed names 3 times in 3 days but I think we are done and settled with Thumper.. We will see tomorrow if he changes it again. Thumper has to have stitches removed Thursday and is getting declawed...Should be interesting hehe! Anyways I'm off here for now! Since the time changed I'm all f'd up and need to get to bed.

Welcome to the World of Blogging Amanda!

Hey everybody! Wow this is my first attempt at really blogging except for on myspace (which doesn't count!), so we will see how it goes. Most anyone who reads this of course already know me but if you don't leave me comments and I'll see where this goes. I'm not going to be able to blog daily, but I'll try to at least blog once a week.

I of course am Amanda and 25 (almost 26 eeek!) and raising my son Ethan Michael who is 4 1/2yrs old on my own. Its been an adventure the last few years but something I wouldn't trade for the world. He's what I live for and why I strive to be a better person. We live in Lorena Texas (right outside of Waco) and have lived here pretty much since Ethan was born but just last August we moved out of my family home and out on our own. An even BIGGER adventure. I have worked at Atmos Energy for the past year and a half and love my job. Yes its a call center but its a company that really cares for their employees and I couldn't be happier! (Well I lied, if they gave me a bigger raise I'd be happier!) Ethan goes to pre-school at the local elementary school and loves it, he is also active in H.O.T Soccer. He just started in the Fall of 2008 and is about to start his Spring season on March 7th. I can't wait! I love being a soccer mom, but without a mini van haha!

I look forward to being able to write about my life here on my blog and hopefully everyone else will enjoy it as well! I do want to thank Kat as she really got me interested in blogging after reading her two blogs over the past year. Please please leave me comments so I know someone is reading this as well!
